Late Dr.R.Gopalakrishnan
MBBS, DPM - Founder
Dr. R. Gopalakrishnan completed his medical training in Madurai and served as RMO of Tirunelveli and A-RMO of Coimbatore. He was also the Civil Surgeon of Coimbatore. He worked at Kilpauk Hospital for Mental health before he founded Naveen Hospital in 1992. He also served as a Consultant at Sri Ramakrishna Hospital and Kovai Medical Center and Hospital, Coimbatore.
Mrs. Anusuya Gopalakrishnan
Director
Hailing from a prominent agricultural family from Idigarai in Coimbatore, Mrs. Anusuya is a visionary who worked hard to bring her dream alive to build a hospital dedicated to mental health. She was a pillar of support for Dr.Gopalakrishnan’s professional growth. She is a dynamic personality who is actively involved in all phases, from construction to development and day-to-day operations of the institutions. She continues to inspire everyone to reach their goals with her able guidance and excellent management skills.

An engineer with an MBA by profession, his passion for healthcare brought him to work at Naveen Hospital after his 10-year stint in the USA. Since his return in 2009, he has been pivotal in various changes that have brought forward progressive development at the Naveen group. It is under his valued guidance that Naveen Hospital has mushroomed into its various avatars – Naveen Rehabilitation center, an important milestone providing long-term care, and Naveenam, the center for Counselling which aims to cater to the needs of the general public who need guidance and help in any aspect of life. His passion lies in the everyday interface with visitors and inmates of the hospital. The ability to help others in need and make a positive difference in their lives gives him fulfillment and happiness.

Dr.Rajendran has completed MBBS in 1984 from Tanjore Medical College and his DPM in 2005 from Madurai Medical College. He has worked as Medical Superintendent and Regional Administrative Medical Officer ESIS, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu. Dr.Rajendran was in-charge of Psychiatry Department of ESI Hospital, Coimbatore.
He has conducted more than 300 CME, Symposiums at ESI Hospital, Coimbatore with National and International speakers. Attended as moderator for many CME programs in psychiatry and endocrinology. Regular speaker for diabetology association of Coimbatore.
Special area of interest – Adolescent Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry.
Dr. R. Karthikumar

Dr.Karthik proficiently evaluates and diagnoses the mental health needs of people and community. Provides onsite psychiatric assessment, diagnosis and treatment. Excellent background in psychopharmacology and interest in responsibly measuring outcomes of new modalities. Utilize well-rounded approach to treat the whole person through medications, active listening and recommending counselling programs.
